What movement do they do?
The rotator cuff is responsible for helping the shoulder to lift the arm out to the side and also to rotate the shoulder
What problems can occur if they are too tight?
Being such small muscles, it is quite common for people to over stretch and tear when reaching for something if your rotator cuff muscles are tight.
Often you can have a dull ache or pain when lying on your side if any of your rotator cuff muscles are restricted.
Where on the body can tight rotator cuff muscles cause pain?
Tight rotator cuff muscles can cause your shoulder to ache, give your mid- back discomfort and cause your neck to be sore.
How do I know if my rotator cuff muscles are too tight?
If you struggle to lift your arms out to the side, you have clicky shoulders, constant headache or shoulder ache it may be time to release those tight rotator cuff muscles. Also, feeling like your shoulder have lost strength is a clue your rotator cuff muscles are nit functioning optimally.
How do I make my rotator cuff flexible?
